Huber Heights to Unveil $49M Townhome Development A Game Changer for Local Growth 🏠

Huber Heights is moving forward with a $49 million townhome development, Creekside Woods, set to be built on a 26-acre site near Wildcat and Kellenburger Roads. The development will include 159 townhomes, with the first phase featuring 78 units and the second phase adding 81 more. To finance public infrastructure for the project, the city plans to create its sixth Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district.
This initiative will use future property tax revenue generated by the new homes to fund improvements, without raising current taxes. The development aims to boost the local housing market, attract new residents, and generate long-term property tax revenue for Huber Heights. The addition of walking paths and open spaces will also enhance the community’s quality of life. Construction could begin as early as late 2025, with the first homes expected by mid-2027.
